With this week’s race being the ‘Hilly’ course it bound to separate out the hilly climbers and the sprinters and cause some movement in the GC ranks.
In the Men’s race Ryan Krauss (Natural High) rode a strong race to finish on top this week with 39:40 , however Jeff Orr (Endurance Reno) was not far behind with only 10 seconds separating them (39:50). With Toguri Training joining the series this week their race entrants have made an impact with Adam Wolfe getting the third podium position this week in 39:51. With all three men separated by only 11 seconds the series is getting closer and closer every week and certainly makes the season look exciting!
In the GC Ryan Krauss ( Natural High) leads with 57 points, while only one point separates Brett Robinson ( Natural High) with 42 points and Colin Kelly (Peak Ottawa) with 41.
In the Women’s Race, New entrant Debra Brown (Toguri Training) made a big impact clinching the top spot this week with a time of 43:52. Britta Samuels (44:34) and Andrea Giles (46:27) representing Endurance Reno achieve 2nd and 3rd this week; both athletes posting yet another strong finish.
In the General Classification, Endurance Reno still remains dominant with Andrea, Britta and Kylee Cederwall holding the first three positions after this week’s race.
Great racing again this week, keep it up!
Good luck with next week’s race.
