Ride with Rendall/ Peak Winter Racing Series is back for it's 3rd Season!

Ride with Rendall and the Peak Centre will be hosting the third season of head-to-head indoor bike racing. Last year we had up to 65 racers contesting each stage nation wide with a total of 170 riders participating in at least one stage during the series.

DAVID VEILLEUX DOMINATES THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN QU�BEC

David Veilleux, a young and talented athlete training out of the PEAK Centre in Montreal, won the national championship for the Under 23 category in the Time Trial race and in the Individual Road Race.

RWR/Peak Winter Racing Series Final Results

The final stage is complete and the final results have been tallied. In the end 165 riders from Vancouver, Ottawa and Montreal participated in this year’s 16 Stage RWR/Peak Winter Racing Series. A huge thanks goes out to everybody that participated and helped out with the series this year. Congratulations to Karen Forsman who finished 10th overall in the Women’s category and Brian Griffin who finished 3rd overall in the Men’s B category. Great riding everybody – best of luck with the summer racing season! Here is Glenn’s Stage Summary:

RWR/Peak Winter racing Series - Stage 15 Results

Stage 15 presented riders with the most challenging course to date in the RWR/Peak Winter Series. Not only was the course riddled with climbs, it also was the longest stage of the 16 race series. Pacing became a priority as some riders challenged for the lead and faded towards the later part of the course if they didn't gauge there effort accordingly. Derrick St. John (1:04:53.4) and Natasha Elliott (1:09:45.7) one again stomped on the pedals to convincingly win their respective categories. Both riders distanced themselves early from the chasers and never looked back.
