Ride with Rendall / Peak Winter Racing Series - Stage 5 Results
The course for Stage 5 of the Ride with Rendall/Peak Winter Series presented riders with a combination of rolling hills and step pitches similar to a Belgian classic. Not unlike a Belgian classic, the power riders came to the front while the climbers had to dig deep to maintain contact with the leaders on the flats and downhills. Ride with Rendall Team rider Derrick St. John managed to distance himself from the field with a time of 37:22.7. Just behind him, a four way battle took taking place between Sean Wakefield (38:30.8), Warren MacDonald (38:48.5), Glen Rendall (38:54.0) and Marc Roundell (39:04.3).

RWR/Peak Winter Racing Series - Stage 4 results
The Tour of Langkawi has the Genting Highlands, The Tour de France has the legendary Alp d'Huez and now the RWR/ Peak Winter Series has Mt. Durand. Mt. Durand is a climb that in keeping with tradition, challenges riders to stay focused and to keep their momentum all the way to the top. Stage 4 had riders waiting nervously as they looked over the profile prior to the race and wondered what was to come.

After 9 heats in Ottawa and Vancouver, Stage three results of the RWR/ Peak Winter Racing Series are now available at www.peakcentrevancouver.ca/race_series.php. The stage was the first running of the time trial course that will be repeated every month to help riders gauge their fitness.
